Chris describes his early upbringing as having been literally surrounded by music his entire life.
At age three, Chris’s father bought Chris his first drum kit. At age six, he received his first ‘real’ drum kit and has been playing ever since.
As Chris got older, he began to play with high school friends and also discovered a love for recording and sound engineering. At age fifteen, Chris actually remembers playing a few shows in a local cover band with future Roxx Revolt & The Velvets lead guitarist Jake Shockley.
Shortly after graduating high school, Jake reached out to Chris and asked him if he would like to try out for his new band. There were several drummers that auditioned but after hearing Chris play, all of the band members agreed that Chris had the sound and experience that the band needed to complete the lineup.
Chris was ecstatic to have been offered the position and said he would ‘jump at the chance’ to be a part of the band.
Shortly after, the band began to play out regularly in south FL venues.
