Chris Campo can’t remember a time when he wasn’t a drummer. From his first drum kit (a Christmas gift at the age of 3) to his professional setup, he was always immersed in the music. Always the wild child, he quickly moved past drum lessons, teaching himself by playing along to the bands he loved: Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
After joining his school’s jazz band, Chris recognized that band life was his calling. After a few attempts to piece together a band, he found a taste of the spotlight with future RR&TV bandmate, Jake Shockley. They jammed in a cover band, and their connection would later lead to an audition for a position in Roxx Revolt and the Velvets.
Two years later, Chris Campo brings a wild unbridled energy to the stage, blaring the backbeats and riling up audiences across the state and beyond.
